I show the students different works of art.
We use them as an oral review of different verb tenses as we describe them (what has happened, what is happening, what is the main character in the picture doing, what happened the day before...).
After a brief discussion, we use the estructure I WISH + PAST SIMPLE to express possible wishes the characters in the pictures may utter.
The works suggested: The Kiss by Klimt, Morning Sun by Hopper, The Cry by Munch, Mujer en la ventana by Dali, among others.
