ROUTINES - PRESENT SIMPLE.
COMPARING DIFFERENT LIFESTYLES .
FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS - USE OF ADJECTIVES.

I would start showing the image and asking my students:

 What can you see?

After a short description. I would give them a list of questions to promote the use of present simple to talk about routines and daily life:

1. What do you think they usually do during the week?
2. Do you think they have the same routine at weekends? Why? Why not?
3. How do they feel? How do you know it?
4. Can you compare your routine with this couple's routine?
5. Do you think they have the same interests as you?

At the end of the activity, I would ask them: Do you like this work of art? Why?
