Objective: Expanding vocabulary related to feelings and emotions.

Level:
Third and fourth Year (Secondary Education)

Contents: 

-Adjectives of feelings and emotions

-Comparative sentences

-Word formation


Assessment

Students will be mainly assessed in Presentation technique/Language/Creativity/Audience awareness

TASK 1

Choose four different adjectives from the middle circle of the following chart shown on this link:

Visit and explore: 
https://artsandculture.google.comor use -goggle Arts and Culture App -


Take four different selfies using the section -Which Artworks Look Like You- and choose the four artworks that best express the emotions you have chosen.

Then research the artworks info and the painters.

TASK 2

Present your research results to the class.


TASK 3


Compare the chosen artworks with your selfies.

TASK 4

Focus on the predominant colours of the chosen artworks and express the emotions through adjectives mainly from the outer circle of the chart above.

Extended task

TASK 5

Choose a colour that expresses one of the emotions chosen in TASK 1.

Then use Google Arts and Culture. Section: What´s your favourite color? in order to discover different artworks which main colour is the one you have chosen.

Express feelings and emotions using different adjective from the chart in TASK 1. Use colour idioms.
